Packing tapes are used to protect the packaging during transport. There are many types of tapes available on the market, differing in the carrier material and the type of glue. It is important to consciously choose the right type of tape for the type of shipment it secures. The most durable support material is PVC, the most ecological: paper, and the most popular and universal: polypropylene. A very important element in the choice of tape is the type of glue. The cheapest option is acrylic glue, but it is worth paying attention to its characteristics. The peeling volume in this case is high, the lower limit of the peeling temperature is 5 degrees Celsius, it can only be used on clean surfaces. The advantages of this type of glue are the low price and high resistance to UV radiation - which is important when the secured items will be stored, for example, outdoors, in a sunny area. The complete opposite is caoutchouc glue (Solvent). This type of glue has a high initial tack, sticks well even on greasy and dirty surfaces, peels off quietly and is resistant to low temperatures (it peels off only at temperatures below -30 degrees Celsius). The disadvantage of this type of glue is low resistance to UV radiation. Caoutchouc adhesives are also a much more expensive choice than the others.

Packing tapes protect the packaging against opening and getting the contents into the wrong hands. The layer of tape also protects the packaging against damage - the cardboard, foil package or stretch will not fall apart or break when it is secured with a layer of tape.

Packing tape will work both in the shipping industry and in private use. The core diameter is 75 mm, thanks to which the tapes fit most classic hand dispensers. The colorless appearance does not disturb the aesthetics of the secured packages. Very useful at school, during moving and securing stored things.
