Description
Softshell is a type of lightweight, breathable and flexible fabric used to sew outdoor clothing. It provides protection against wind and moderate rainfall, while allowing for free breathing and moisture wicking. The material was created as a response to concerns about hardshells - heavy membrane jackets, usually worn with fleece sweatshirts. Softshell materials are a proposition for those looking for lightweight solutions, because by combining two layers, it was possible to reduce the weight of outdoor clothing.
Softshell consists of two layers: an outer layer, which is windproof, moderately waterproof and flexible, and an inner layer: which is soft and pleasant to the touch, made of fleece, providing warmth. The Softshell offered by us contains a Waterproof component, which increases its water resistance.
