Description
Corduroy is one of the most famous fabrics. A characteristic feature of this fabric are stripes, created by introducing an additional thread into the weft, creating interlacings on the right side, which are then cut, trimmed and brushed. In this way, a longitudinally ribbed pile cover is formed above the warp threads. The stripes can be of various thicknesses. The original is made of cotton, but there are versions of other raw materials. Corduroy provides thermal comfort. It is usually worn from fall to spring as outer garments. Corduroy, despite its thickness, is very soft, clothes made of it are extremely comfortable and pleasant to use. It is very durable. Richly decorated with embroidery.
The perfect choice for outerwear: jackets, coats, jackets. Also used for the production of trousers and headgear (e.g. flat caps).
