Description
Astrakhan fur is a knitted fabric made of polyester fibers. It is characterized primarily by very good thermal insulation and a soft and extremely cozy texture of the material. The fibers of the fabric are arranged irregularly, giving the fabric an attractive pattern reminiscent of caracul fur. The material is one-sided - the fur is only on the upper side. The hair at the base is brown (like the left side), while the entire length is beige-gray.
It is used both in clothing and as a decorative knitted fabric. Astrakhan fur, as a lining, is a great complement to warm sweatshirts and vests. It can also be used as a finish on collars and hoods. By itself, it is perfect for elegant bolero dresses for evening, wedding and communion outfits. It can be used to create cozy baby blankets and decorative pillows, toys and all kinds of hairy ornaments.
